Proposed Project to Expand Burlington Bay Campground

The City of Two Harbors is proposing a full service expansion of the municipal campground overlooking Burlington Bay. The expansion includes 34 sites to accommodate Class A motor homes and fifth-wheel recreational vehicles. The expansion incorporates Low Impact Design elements and ADA accessibility requirements. The design of the project was funded by the Coastal Zone Management Act, by NOAA’s Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource management, in conjunction with Minnesota’s Lake Superior Coastal Program.
