Two Harbors News was started to give people in the Two Harbors area and former residents another option to get local news. We felt that Two Harbors and the surrounding area was in need of a website that would report on local happenings and allow the residents and visitors to provide commentary. The idea languished for a couple years, until we finally said enough is enough. We decided to move forward with what has now become TwoHarborsNews.com – a news site/blog/fourm dedicated to providing locals, newcomers and visitors with all the information they might need about Two Harbors, MN and the surrounding areas. You, the reader, provide another layer of content and opinion by actively commenting on each story as well as providing tips, photos, suggestions, as well as (yikes!) criticisms, which helps to make the site even more well-rounded. We are *not* an official website for Two Harbors, the Lake County News-Chronicle or any other organization.
